PRO-WASH is an initiative funded by USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) and led by Save the Children. PRO-WASH aims to provide support to implementing partners in order to strengthen the quality of WASH interventions through capacity strengthening, knowledge-sharing and applied WASH research opportunities. PRO-WASH’s approach to providing support is driven by a commitment to empower BHA partners to become technical leaders in WASH, particularly for vulnerable and food insecure communities.

Request for Proposal: PRO-WASH Training Partner for Water Quality Monitoring

Save the Children under the PRO-WASH Award is requesting competitive proposals from qualified vendors to act as a local partner to provide training support to support Resilience Food Security Activities in water quality monitoring. The applicants should have a substantial presence in Sub-Saharan Africa, the deadline for submission is June 29, 2022. For more information, including the scope of work, please see here.

Scope of Work: Learning from Water Security and Resilience activities in the Sahel

PRO-WASH, in collaboration with TerresEauVie, is seeking a qualified vendor for collaboration in knowledge gathering and research in groundwater-dependent catchments in drylands regions of Burkina Faso and Niger. The overall objectives of this scope of work are to capture lessons learned on groundwater, water security, water governance, and water resilience, and generate and disseminate findings and recommendations to share with current and future programs. This includes providing recommendations on how findings can be integrated/adapted to RFSA programming.  EXTENDED DEADLINE: Proposals in French or English are due by July 15, 2022, additional information on detailed deliverables encompassed within the vendor’s scope of work is included here. You can read responses to questions received here
